Town of Chania, Crete
Chania is a romantic harbour town in western Crete, with a touch of Venice. The historic centre is a real jewel of Venetian architecture and exudes plenty of historical flair. In the western part of the town of Chania you will find several small bays with golden, gently sloping sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters.
Village of Georgioupolis, Crete
Georgioupolis is an idyllic fishing village on the north-western coast of Crete. Located in a heavenly bay in a lush river plain with a rugged mountain landscape in the background, the popular seaside resort is well known for its long, fine sandy beach and shallow, crystal-clear waters.
We set new standards in hospitality.
But don't take our word for it. Just read what our guests write about us upon departure.
Hospitality at its best. Congratulations to the team and the hotel architect.
We are normally shy about writing reviews and feel compelled to do so only because we felt our stay and the team at Chania Flair deserve it. Our preferred type of hotel has evolved over time and we tend to appreciate smaller well appointed and comfortable hotels that give a home away from home feeling, with attention to local products and habits. Chania Flair is such a hotel and in the very diverse and somewhat disorienting offer of hospitality in and around Chania hit the spot...
A true boutique hotel exceeds every expectation in flair, amenities, and service.
It is seldom that one encounters a boutique hotel in every sense of the word. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with complimentary champagne; the check-in was completed on the sofa where we were having our drinks. Communication from the hotel had been impeccable and we were met at the airport by a courteous hotel employee in a Mercedes-Benz.
If you want the perfect Greek island holiday choose this hotel on the Island of Crete!
This family owned hotel in Georgioupolis is outstanding! The location, next to a charming Greek village on the ocean with mountains above could not be more perfect. The hotel itself was excellent. From the chauffeur at the airport, to the front desk stays, the cleaning staff, the servers at the pool bar... you could not ask for better service. The room had two showers - a lovely luxury after time on the beach! The food was delicious as well...
This hotel was perfect for our needs and exceeded our high expectations.Set in a lovely quiet location, and only about 100 metres from its own beach very well provided with shaded sun loungers, its rooms with private pools were excellent. We had chosen the hotel, knowing that its client base was predominantly German, because the private pools are heated, an essential for early season, and because both breakfast and dinner are al a carte and there is no provision for all inclusive which we dislike. The meals were amazing.Genuinely 5 course breakfasts and dinners with huge choice and many vegetarian and vegan options...
A wonderful and historic, renovated hotel right on the beach of Georgioupoli. The location is fantastic, because it is in a cove, sheltered from the north winds, the beach is soft sand, easy to wade in and out. The water is always fresh and cool, due to the little streams from the river running into it. The staff is very friendly, and make an effort to consider your every comfort. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, the internet is fine. The food and the wines are excellent. There are plenty of comfy lounging beds on the beach and by the pool. There are nice shops in the village nearby, to pick up souvenirs and mementoes...
The hotel is near to the beach. There are enough sunbeds for the hotel guests on the beach. The food is tasty. The location is great. We have a very pleasant and lovely stay in Corissia beach. The lady on the reception booked for us trip to Elafonissi beach. The staff is very polite and smiling all the time. They even greeted us on our own language. The room was clean and big enough...
