Gross salary: € 1500 - 1800

The final salary level will be determined on the basis of merit after the interview. Benefits may include, depending on the position, free daily meals at one of the restaurants in the facility or free accommodation close to the respective property. The terms of the sectoral collective agreement for hotel employees in Chania apply.

Job description

As a Restaurant Manager at Corissia Hotels & Resort, you will oversee the daily operations of our dining outlets, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for leading and motivating your team, maintaining high service standards, and coordinating with other departments to deliver a seamless dining experience. With your leadership, organizational skills, and passion for hospitality, you will help create memorable moments for our guests while achieving the restaurant’s operational and financial goals.

Typical responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of restaurants, bars, and dining areas.
  • Lead, train, and motivate service staff to deliver professional and attentive service.
  • Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and consistent high-quality service.
  • Monitor service standards, hygiene, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth food service and timely delivery.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, task assignments, and daily briefings.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Control inventory levels, monitor costs, and ensure accurate reporting of sales.
  • Collaborate with management to develop promotions, menus, and special events.

Necessary skills

  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with a guest-oriented mindset.
  • Good command of English and German (both spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of F&B operations, service standards, and basic cost control.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage peak service hours.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a 4* or 5* hotel or restaurant is highly desirable.
