Receptionist
Full-time all year round or seasonal (April - end of October)
Gross salary: € 1300 - 1700
The final salary level will be determined on the basis of merit after the interview. Benefits may include, depending on the position, free daily meals at one of the restaurants in the facility or free accommodation close to the respective property. The terms of the sectoral collective agreement for hotel employees in Chania apply.

Job description
As a Receptionist at Corissia Hotels & Resort, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth check-in and check-out process. With your professionalism, communication skills, and friendly approach, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences and building positive impressions of our hotels. Your fluency in German and English will allow you to assist international guests effectively and provide excellent service throughout their stay.
Typical responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure a seamless check-in process.
- Manage check-outs efficiently, handling invoices and payments accurately.
- Answer phone calls and emails, providing information on hotel services and local recommendations.
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly, escalating to management when necessary.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met.
- Maintain accurate guest records in the PMS and update information as required.
- Assist in promoting hotel services, upgrades, and special offers.
- Ensure the reception area is always tidy, welcoming, and organized.
Necessary skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality, empathy, and strong customer service mindset.
- Fluency in German and English (spoken and written); additional languages will be a plus.
- Basic computer skills (knowledge of PMS software will be considered an advantage).
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role will be appreciated but is not essential.
