Housekeeping Supervisor
Full-time all year round or seasonal (April - end of October)
Gross salary: € 1400 - 1700
The final salary level will be determined on the basis of merit after the interview. Benefits may include, depending on the position, free daily meals at one of the restaurants in the facility or free accommodation close to the respective property. The terms of the sectoral collective agreement for hotel employees in Chania apply.

Job description
As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Corissia Hotels & Resort, you will ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation. You will lead and motivate the housekeeping team, coordinate daily operations, and inspect assigned areas to guarantee a consistently excellent guest experience. Your eye for detail, leadership skills, and commitment to service quality will play a key role in the hotel’s success.
Typical responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and service standards are met.
- Assign tasks and provide guidance to housekeepers, ensuring productivity and quality of work.
- Train, support, and motivate staff to maintain high performance and teamwork.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen; report shortages and request replenishments.
- Collaborate with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to address guest requests or issues quickly.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Assist in preparing work schedules and controlling labor costs.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Necessary skills
- Previous experience in housekeeping, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Good command of English (German or Greek will be a plus).
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
