Guest Relations Officer
Full-time all year round or seasonal (April - end of October)
Gross salary: € 1300 - 1700
The final salary level will be determined on the basis of merit after the interview. Benefits may include, depending on the position, free daily meals at one of the restaurants in the facility or free accommodation close to the respective property. The terms of the sectoral collective agreement for hotel employees in Chania apply.

Job description
As a Guest Relations Officer, you will be the primary ambassador of Corissia Hotels throughout the guest journey — from pre-arrival to post-stay. You will handle requests and feedback with warmth and professionalism, provide proactive assistance, resolve issues swiftly, and create personalized moments that elevate satisfaction and loyalty. Your excellent communication skills and strong command of German will help ensure every guest enjoys a seamless, memorable stay.
Typical responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a personalized introduction to the hotel facilities and services.
- Serve as the main point of contact for VIPs, repeat visitors, and special requests.
- Assist with reservations, activity bookings, and local recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Manage guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with courtesy and efficiency, ensuring timely solutions.
- Coordinate with all hotel departments to fulfill guest needs and requests promptly.
- Promote hotel services, experiences, and upgrades to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Prepare daily reports on guest interactions, feedback, and service improvements.
- Support the creation and implementation of guest loyalty initiatives.
Necessary skills
- Outstanding communication skills and confidence in managing issues to resolution.
- Pleasant personality, empathy, and strong team spirit.
- Commercial awareness and experience with upselling or sales support.
- Excellent knowledge of German and English (spoken and written).
- Basic computer skills (email, PMS/CRM familiarity will be a plus).
- Previous experience in a similar role will be appreciated but is not essential.
