Full-time all year round or seasonal (April - end of October)

Gross salary: € 1100 - 1600

The final salary level will be determined on the basis of merit after the interview. Benefits may include, depending on the position, free daily meals at one of the restaurants in the facility or free accommodation close to the respective property. The terms of the sectoral collective agreement for hotel employees in Chania apply.

Job description

As a Waiter / Waitress at Corissia Hotels & Resort, you will be part of the Food & Beverage team, delivering high-quality service in our restaurants and bars. You will ensure that every guest enjoys a warm welcome, professional table service, and a memorable dining experience. With your positive attitude, communication skills, and attention to detail, you will contribute directly to guest satisfaction and the reputation of our hospitality services.

Typical responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
  • Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations on food and beverages.
  • Take orders accurately and communicate them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serve food and drinks professionally, ensuring correct presentation and timing.
  • Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints with courtesy and efficiency.
  • Set up, maintain, and clear dining areas according to hotel standards.
  • Follow hygiene, health, and safety regulations in all service procedures.
  • Promote hotel services, special menus, or upgrades when appropriate.

Necessary skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Pleasant personality, teamwork, and a service-oriented attitude.
  • Good knowledge of English (German or other languages will be a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours.
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be appreciated but is not essential.
