Gross salary: € 1500 - 1800

The final salary level will be determined on the basis of merit after the interview. Benefits may include, depending on the position, free daily meals at one of the restaurants in the facility or free accommodation close to the respective property. The terms of the sectoral collective agreement for hotel employees in Chania apply.

Job description

As Front Office Manager at Corissia Hotels & Resort, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all reception operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. As the first and last point of contact for many of our guests, you will play a crucial role in shaping their impression of our hotels. Your leadership, professionalism, and ability to motivate your team will ensure a warm welcome, smooth check-in and check-out processes, and excellent overall service.

Typical responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and support reception staff, including receptionists and porters/grooms.
  • Prepare and manage monthly staff schedules.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of services to all guests.
  • Handle complaints and special requests with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency.
  • Monitor supplies (forms, stationery, equipment) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee the implementation of company policies, procedures, and service standards.

Necessary skills

  • Strong knowledge of customer service, office management, and basic accounting procedures.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software, POS systems, and MS Office.
  • Excellent command of English and German (spoken and written).
  • Ability to manage emergencies and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and schedules.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a 4* or 5* hotel will be highly appreciated.
