Full-time all year round or seasonal (April - end of October)

Gross salary: € 1400 - 1600

The final salary level will be determined on the basis of merit after the interview. Benefits may include, depending on the position, free daily meals at one of the restaurants in the facility or free accommodation close to the respective property. The terms of the sectoral collective agreement for hotel employees in Chania apply.

Job description

As an Electronic Systems and Networks Technician at Corissia Hotels & Resort, you will ensure the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic, IT, and networking systems across our facilities. This includes supporting security systems, internet and Wi-Fi infrastructure, telephony, audiovisual equipment, and other technology that enhances guest comfort and hotel efficiency. Your technical expertise will help keep our operations smooth and reliable.

Typical responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and audio systems.
  • Monitor and maintain the hotel’s IT and network infrastructure (routers, switches, cabling, servers, Wi-Fi).
  • Provide technical support for staff and resolve basic hardware/software issues.
  • Assist in the configuration and updating of telephony systems, POS systems, and back-office IT equipment.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of guest Wi-Fi services across the property.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electronic and IT systems.
  • Document interventions, incidents, and maintenance logs; escalate complex issues when required.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for specialized repairs, upgrades, or installations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and data security standards when handling electronic systems.

Necessary skills

  • Technical diploma or degree in electronics, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with electronic systems, networking, or IT support.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi setup, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Understanding of security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control) and audiovisual setups.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
  • Basic knowledge of English (Greek or German will be a plus).
  • Previous hotel or hospitality experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
