Gross salary: € 1400 - 2000
The final salary level will be determined on the basis of merit after the interview. Benefits may include, depending on the position, free daily meals at one of the restaurants in the facility or free accommodation close to the respective property. The terms of the sectoral collective agreement for hotel employees in Chania apply.

Job description
As a Cook at Corissia Hotels & Resort, you will play a vital role in the kitchens of our buffet and à la carte restaurants. By combining traditional and modern cooking techniques, you will prepare high-quality meals that meet the expectations of our guests. Your contribution will directly support our mission of delivering excellent hospitality and ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
Typical responsibilities
- Organize workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Prepare ingredients for daily use (e.g., chopping vegetables, cutting meat, peeling, portioning).
- Cook dishes using various methods and equipment, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Ensure proper storage of food and supplies to maintain freshness and safety.
- Check the quality of raw materials before use.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or place orders as needed.
Necessary skills
- Proven experience as a Cook, with knowledge of a wide range of cooking methods and techniques.
- Familiarity with kitchen tools, utensils, and professional cooking equipment.
- Ability to apply and follow hygiene and food safety procedures.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and high aesthetic standards.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and strong teamwork skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a 4* or 5* hotel kitchen will be highly valued.
