This isn’t unusual when arriving at a good hotel, but often it’s the end of their hospitality as you become just another guest. A true boutique hotel exceeds every expectation in flair, amenities, and service.
It is seldom that one encounters a boutique hotel in every sense of the word. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with complimentary champagne; the check-in was completed on the sofa where we were having our drinks. In case of cancellation of your direct booking, no fees at all will be charged, as long as the cancellation is made at least 15 days before your arrival, and the 20% deposit required to confirm the booking will be refunded in full. If the cancellation is made in the last 2 weeks before arrival, a fee equal to the 20% deposit is due. This fee is waived in case of acute illness of a travelling person: a medical certificate and cancellation of the flight booking are sufficient.
