The final salary level will be determined on the basis of merit after the interview. Benefits may include, depending on the position, free daily meals at one of the restaurants in the facility or free accommodation close to the respective property. Job description

The Cluster Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping and laundry operations across both properties, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and brand presentation. This role leads and develops the housekeeping team, maintains guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, and optimizes efficiency through strong cost control and inventory management.

The Cluster Executive Housekeeper collaborates closely with hotel leadership and key departments to implement quality assurance programs, ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, and elevate the overall guest experience.

Typical responsibilities

  • Oversee all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and laundry services.
  • Ensure consistent cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation aligned with brand standards and local regulations.
  • Lead, train, coach, and motivate housekeeping teams to deliver excellent service and maintain productivity.
  • Develop and implement cleaning procedures, schedules, SOPs, and inspection checklists to uphold quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory (linen, uniforms, amenities, cleaning chemicals), consumption, and supply costs to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Manage housekeeping budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation to meet operational needs and seasonal demand.
  • Oversee laundry operations, ensuring proper handling, cleaning, storage, and distribution of linens and uniforms.
  • Work closely with Maintenance to report, follow up, and ensure timely resolution of room and facility issues.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and service recovery with professionalism and urgency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and fire safety protocols.
  • Implement sustainability initiatives that reduce environmental impact and operational costs.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless daily operations and service excellence.

Necessary skills

  • Proven experience in housekeeping leadership roles in upscale or luxury hotels (multi-property/cluster experience is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, hygiene practices, and operational workflows.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost control, inventory/linen management, and productivity planning.
  • Excellent leadership, training, and team management skills with a hands-on approach.
  • High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to perform under pressure in busy operations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
  • Good command of English (additional languages are a plus).
